Simple-Star-Version 2.4 Story of the Stars

Nameless, begining.

I have no idea where this came from, my muses just apparently showed up for no reason and blind-sided me with this little piece of....of well, stil not quite sure what its suppose to be, its PWP or a WTF, or whatever you want to call. Also dont expect it to go anywhere, its just an idea that my muses gave me and would not leave me alone till it was wrote out..

So for your enjoyment the nameless piece of drabble that will most likely never amount to anything other then...what it is now? heh...

Twelve year old Nicole Ann Jackson gazed up at the brightly shining stars with a small smile gracing her cherry plump lips. She had always been mystified by the stars, how they always shone along side one another, never being complete with-out its brethren. She had always been jealous of the stars and how together they completed the vast expansive that was the universe.

Choking back her tears, she slowly brought her hand up to her bruised eye. Why couldn't she be apart of something like that? Why was she destined to be alone? Her parents didn't want her, her friends didn't need her...

Rolling over, onto her side she stared out over the vast city lights of Colorado Springs. She just..."I don't want to be alone anymore." Nicole whispered despondently while staring out at the city she would forever loath...

Up in the star littered sky a bright, unknown, object flashed across the sky before disappearing.

"Nicole time fore breakfast!"

Twitching her eyes the brown haired girl groaned before slowly turning over, wincing as her movements aggravated her sore body.

"Nicole!" The voice shouted again this time closer.

Slowly opening her tired eyes, she blinked a couple of times allowing her eyes to adjust to the bright light that filled her vision. Bringing a hand up to her deep chestnut eyes she slowly, gently, rubbed her eyes to try and wake herself up.

"Nicole?" There was a hint of worry in her callers voice causing the girls ears to perk.

"Mama?" She whispered slowly moving to a sitting position, allowing her a chance to get a look at her surroundings. The morning sun shone high in the east, signaling the start of a new day, while the trees around her house rustled in the gentle fall wind. I fell asleep outside?

"Nicole Where Are You!?" Panic now filled the callers voice causing Nicole to stand on shaky feet and head to the edge of the roof. Looking out of the edge of the two story building she quickly lowered herself off the side and into her room window.

"Mama?" She questioned as she slowly scanned her room for any sign of her mothers presence. "Im in my room!" She hollered out as she heard foot falls begin their descent towards her room causing her to smile, she knew it was a rare occasion when her parents got home before she was already gone to school. Though she knew they didn't have much time fore her it was nice to feel wanted.

Her hopes were short lived though when her room door opened to reveal her nanny, Clara. Looking down at the floor she sighed.

Clara was a sixty year old widow. She was short, plump, and the kindest woman you could ever know, though could be stern if needed. Nicole liked her, she was like her second mother, heck for the first couple of years of her life she thought she was her mom!

"There you are child! You had me worried...honey...is everything alright?" Kneeling down in front of her charge she brushed some the girls chin length brown haired out of her eyes. "Your eye still bothering you? Do you want to stay home today?"

Shaking her head she smiled at the woman's concern. "No Im fine just...I thought..nevermind, I have to get ready for school."

Clara smiled back before nodding, "Alright hurry up then I hear your parents should be back from their business trip tonight."
