Okay, so when I got my report card for my last years homeschooling, I did okay in everything but Pre-Algerbra. Please dont make me embarrass myself and try and explain why I got a C+, actually is 76.9 an C+?
Anywho Im now half-way through my school year and my Social Science class is kickin my white-irish-ass! When I read the summary in the school cataloge for the course it didn't sound all that hard.
Sociology Summary: A Study of Human Relationships - this course offers a stude of human relationships in society. It focuses upon the use of sociological point of view to examine culture, social structure, the individual in society, social insitutions, and social inequality. The changing social world and its implications are presented and analzyed. 1 credit.
See doesn't sound hard at all, and I kinda needed the credit so I could help get my college prep diploma and seeing how thats the only thing I sorta find related to Anthropology, Archaeology, and linguists I decided to take the course...can anyone say stew-pid id-dee-ut?
Its not so much that the lessons are hard or the reading is incomprehensible(sp?) its just that the tests are so un-godly! The multiple choice answers are okay alittle hard but fine, its the essays for the tests, and even some of the homework, that is killing me!
From what I've read int he textbook I understand but when you have to look up your information, that should be in your textbook, on the internet for your homework, its crazy I think I sat at Google all weekend trying to search for information on the Mundungers.
I dont know if its just because I've never taken a class where I've had to do so much research out of the text, or its just classes are getting harder but Im warning all those who are students of Keystone National Highschool, if your not prepared to work your butt off or ask you parents for plenty of help and prepared to rack up search points with Google this course is not for you!

Well, not ture, I loved that layout and thought about making one like it but I tried looking for tutorials on the code xdiorangelx used but I couldn't find a tutorial ANYWHERE! So I gave up and went back to my trusty DIV/CSS/normal HTML but one day I will understand how that frickin' innerHTML works and I will rule all!...ignore me, seriously...
Anyways I know I haven't posted another review for The 4400 but dont worry I will have the reviews up before Tuesday, because I expect you all to watch the TV Show when Sci-fi plays in for three nights starting Feb.22th. Think it starts at 9:00 central.
Also I feel obligated to promote my friends RPG, its not open to the public right now, its just for her online friends and college roomies. Stress relief or something but its an interesting concept.
Atlantis the lost continent of an advance technological race, its suppose to be a myth right? What if I told you that it wasn't? For a handful of people this was home, Atlantis was real, and nothing would destroy it; but something did. At the height of the city's growth it was attacked by an unknown force and sank into the frigid depths of the Atlantic Ocean. There were legends that said no one survived the city's destruction but the legends were wrong the last generation of Atlantians are coming of age and are about to learn who and what killed their people.

In a market store we see a man, known as Carl Morrissey, stocking a fish display when an elderly lady comes up to him what looks good today. Smiling Carl walks over to the front of the display and picks up a some-type of fish. Bringing it over he lets Mrs.Martino look at the fish. She nods her head and tells him that since he disappeared she hasn't gottena decent fish. As Carl heads over to weight the fish the elderly lady asks him how it feels to be back. Taking the fish from the weighing tray he starts to reply but his boss, Burt, interrupts him by taping on his office window and calling his name. Carl turns and says hes great, its like he never left. Heading over to his boss, Burt asks Carl what he thinks he's doing, to which he replies, he was just helping Mrs. Martino. Burt glares at him and says that anyone else can help a costume but he destinctly remembered asking him to stock the fish display.
After-work Carl meets up with his wife, Grace, at an old rundown theater so the two can walk home together. As they walk Carl asked how her day went and she told him the usual it was slow, she continues on to say that its the neighborhood its not like it use to be. Carl says its not that bad and Grace laughs and said yes it is but he just doesn't want to see it. Smiling he agrees Grace goes on to say that no one cares about the place anymore 
as the two come to Bradley Park entrance Carl says that they should take a short cut through the park but Grace detests that they shouldn't no one goes through it anymore its just a hang out for gangs and drug dealers. As the two continue to talk a kid, playing hockey, behind them shoot an orange puck hard towards the two and it heads straight for Grace but just as its about to hit her Carl catches it, inches from her face.
The next day? Carl is walking home and decides to take a short cut through the park. He walks around and sees all the graffiti done by gangs and taggers. Shaking his head he smiles, though, when he sees the bench he proposed to his wife on. Walking over to it he sits down and remembers when he proposed to his Gracey. Standing up to go he's suprised when to muggers shove him and ask for his wallet. Carl stupid asks, in shock, if their mugging him, but never the less hands over his wallet. Taking the wallet the mugger to his right stares in shock as he holds up seven dollars. Apparently not please the mugger to his left goes in to hit him with a metal pipe while the one on the right trys to beat him. But to their surprise Carl catches both their wrists. He grabs the metal pole from the man on his left and hits the man on his right with it. Shoving the man to his left to the ground he hits him in the face, stunning the mugger, jumping over the bench, dropping the pipe, he jumps onto the the mugger from his right. Sending them both to the ground, he quickly stuns the guy with a hit to the face. The mugger he hit in the face with the pipe grabs said object and intends to hit Carl but instead Carl grabs it from him and hits him once in the nads then in the stomach and finally in the face. Frightened the two muggers stagger away from Carl.

Ryland, Tom, and Diana are all siting around a security monitor watching Maia as she sleeps. Ryland says that the complaints about Maia started when her foster parents brough her back to quaratine last week. Diana questions her boss as to what kind of complaints he means. He answers by saying that yesterday Maia was talking to one of the employees and said that her daughter would be in the hospital soon but that she would be okay. the next day said girl was in a car accident but was fine. Diana asks if Ryland thinks that the little girl has some kind 
of second sight. He says that there are five other reports just like the one he explained to them. Tom leans forward on Rylands desk, Why kidnap an eight year old girl, hold her for sixty years, and then give her back with the power to predict the future, he wonders what the hell the kidnappers were thinking. As Diana starts in on Tom about him saying They, Ryland says leave it for the team in the Theory Room, nodding the three start to leave the room but not before Tom geets a crack in about the Theory Rooms occupants.
Tom is sitting across from Maia helping her color as she tells him that she never meant to scare anyone. Tom replies he knows but he wants to know why she told the employee that her daughter would be going to the hospital. Maia says because its true. Tom questions her on how she knew and as if would explain everything she says she just knew. Tom asks Maia that if he asks her if its going to rain next Sunday would she know. Not sure how to answer Maia says maybe. Stopping in her coloring she looks up at Tom and asks whats going to happen to her now; he tells her that the docs will have to run more tests on her but that it wont hurt. Maia doesn't believe him, scared she looks up at Diana and asks her if she will look in on her now and again to see if shes doing okay. Hesitant Diana agrees.
Lily and Richard are looking at an apartment when the reality agent comes in and asks them if they have any question they would like to ask him. Lily asks if the small bedroom will get to much light for a baby room and the agent replies that its a nothern exposure so she should be fine. Going back to Richard she asks what he thinks and he says he like it. The agent asks if this is their first baby and automatically Richard says that its not his, misunderstanding the agent asks if it will just be Lily and the baby staying here, she says no, it will be all three of them. Smiling at his sell the agent leaves to go and gather the paperwork. While he's gone Lily hides a shy smile and says she hope she didn't embaress him. Richard says no its just he forgets sometimes that its not the fifties and he was afraid that the agent wouldn't sell them the apartment if he thought he was going to be living with her.
Holding each others hand Lily starts to look around the room when her vision starts to mess up, distorting the colors in odd hues. Clutching her stomach she leans against the fire place, worried Richard asks whats wrong. Feeling sick Lily says she needs to get out of the apartment.
Carl enters his home looking compeltely hyped while his wife asks him worriedly where hes been. Throwing his keys down onto a table he tell Grace that he got mugged. Now concerned out of her mind she asks if the muggers hurt him. Heading to his kitchen Carl explains that he wasn't the one that got hurt it was the two guys that mugged him. Taking off his jacket he starts saying that whoever took him for those eighteen months did something to him, made him better. Hugging her husbands jacket she says that first thing tomorrow maybe he should call the HomeSec councler. 
After telling his wife he doesn't have time for that, that he has things to do she asks him what kind of things. He tells Gace that he wants to clean up the park, make it better like when they were kids. Grace says that hes scaring her, and softly Carl tells her that theres nothing to be scared of, atleast not anymore.
Back at the hospital Kyles mom is at his bedside holding his hand when Tom walks in asking why the doctor wants to see him, she says that the doctor didn't tell her. The two small talk until she brings up the fact her lawyer was askign if he would sign the divorce papers again. Tom says he was thinking of them goign to dinner and signing them together. The doctor enters and says he was reviewing Kyles EEG and states that last Thrusday night Kyle had a momentary burst of increase brain activity, he said it was brief, Tom interrupts says thats good right? The Doctor Replies, Technically yes but we wont be sure till we run more tests. Linda complains and says we've had three years of tests but the doctor says, as he leaves the room with Lina following, he understands but he really must look into it. 
Before Linda leaves Tom says Stefanos Thrusday night seven-thirty, she says she'll be there. Turning around Tom asks the nurse on hand, Dorothy, if anyone else besides him or Linda visited Kyles last Thrusday. Looking up at the sign in sheet she says yes one other person a Shawn Ferrall.
As Shawn is heading to School his uncle, Tom, shouts at him. After asking his nephew if he saw Kyle Shawn explains, of course he did Kyles his cousin and he wanted to see him, what about it? Tom continues on saying that nothing happened while you were there, that he saw nothing and did nothing. Shawns, somewhat worried, asks what could he have done. Tom recalls the dead bird from the welcome home party, he says that the bird was dead then he picked it up and it flew away, smacking him on the shoulder he demands to know what he did to Kyle. Aggrivated Shawn back off a feet feet from his uncle stating he didn't do anything! Walking up the steps towards his school his uncle calls out to him again saying they will talk again and Shawn replies he cant wait.
Walking up the steps to school Shawns brother and his girlfriend catch up to him, Nikki informs him a bunch of them are going to see Foutains of Wayne this weekend. Shawn tells them to have fun. She says this whole loner thing is getting very tiring. He tells her it works for him and walks away. Nikki hollers at him about the concert and tells him its Friday Night. Danny asks his girlfriend why she keeps pushing him and she tells him someone has to cause she doesn't see him doing it. Danny replies that he figured Shawn wanted his space so thats what hes giving him. Fed up Nikki heads into the school.
In the Theory Room at HomeSec we see Marco writing with white board markers on a transparent board. Diana and Tom walk in she greets him happily. Marco greets her and then heads off to a desk and says he checked out her idea, Tom questions what idea. Well am I a genius or am I crazy, smiling at the femal agent Marco tells her that they dotn make that distinction in here. He tells her that she actually is right that the gravity of the sites he checked out are weaker but its barely noticiable. 
Tom asks for it in English and Diana says that it means the gravity of the site, were some of the returnees were taking has changed, but what htey dont know is if it was naturally or artifically. Marco continues on for her by saying if it was Artifically then the quesitons become by who. The two geniuses go back and forth talking about how they cant rule out alien abduction but to be sure they'll need to take more measurements. Tom pulls at his shirt collar and looks at Marco, so in other words you've made no progress? Insulted Marco nods his head and waves to Diana, you explain it to him. The two begin to leave when Marco calls them back he tells them about Adam Kensington and how he wasn't a good guy. He was point man in a insurance fraud. He tells them that Orsen Bailey save Washington a bunch of money by taking the guy out. As the two walk out Tom questions if the people who sent Bailey back meant for him to go after Kinsington, and Diana, smartassed, replies well its a theory and thats why they call it the Theory Room
Shawns playing his guitar as his not so little brother walks in and leans on the family car watching him. Theres a couple of minutes silence when Shawn says if this is about the concert thing but Danny says it doesn't have anything to do with that. He says he just wants to know whats going on between him and Nikki. Shawn questions what he means and he replies he jsut wants to know whats going on between them. Shawn plays dumb. And Danny explains that Nikki cant stop talkign about him, Shawn questions how thats his problem, angry Danny says Just do me a favor, leave her alone okay? Shawn says that he thought thats what hes been doing. Swaying back and forth in his chair he stares at his brother, he tells Danny that if he has a problem with Nikki he needs to go talk to her. Danny walks forward and explains that the he isn't his little brother now, their both the same age. 
Becoming annoyed with his brother Shawn tells him to stop acting like a two year old then, Youre my brother, he tells him, shes your girlfriend...its all good...right? Hesitantly Danny agrees. Playing a few cords on his guitar Shawn stops and starts to think.
Lily and Richard are walking down the street Lily says now that they have an apartment she can get him a computer, he says forget the computer they need to her to a doctor, she tells him to forget the doctor. She says she's fine now, she says the other place, there was something about it, that the baby didn't like it. Richard tells her that the baby is barely even old enough to think. Lily says she knows but she says somehow she knows what the baby is thinking. He says again that the baby is barely two months along, that its not thinking anything. She tells him she doesn't know hot to explain it anymore then he could explain where hes been for the last fifty years or whats happened to them while they were gone. Two share a kiss and Lily sees a woman in the door way rocking a baby. Sad she comments that she use to rock Heidi like that as a baby, she said it feels like yesterday but it wasnt. She says she misses Heidi, Richard says give time once her ex has gotten use to her being back he'll drop the restraning order. Saddened Lilly just nods.
Laying in bed Carl is staring up at the ceiling while his wife lays beside him fast asleep. Some hero music kicks in adn we then see him in the park with cleaning supply and green pain. To the music we see him painting the benches and cleaning hte graffiti off the monument. 
After awhile he falls asleep and minutes later awakes to a woman screaming, going over to a kdsi slide he sees a girl struggeling against three men, he tells them to leave her alone but they tell him to get lostand strongly he says no stepping closer to them he bravely says NO! You get Lost!. The man bad guy, holding down the womans legs, 
says to go and get him. We see bad guy number one charge towards Carl, who gets his ass kicked, the man baddie runs in to help while baddie number three runs for his life. The girl in trouble watches in amazement as the people who were about to rape? her get the shit beat out of 'em.
The next day Diana goes in to check on Maia, who is sitting on an exam bed by herself crying. Diana walks in asks how long shes been like this, the little girl replies awhile, she thinks they all went on their coffee break. Maia asks in Diana will stay until the Doctors come back. Diana tells her she will and when the doctors come back she and they are going to ahve a talk. Looking up at the older woman Maia asks
if she can go home then. After Diana asks what she means Maia say with her. Diana looks baffeled. Maia says she doesn't like being here alone and she knows that Diana doesn't like being by herself etheir, she also says she can always come back for her check ups, Diana gives a list of reasons why she shouldn't bring Maia home, but the kid says its okay with her, Diana sighs and says let her think about it.
Tom looks up at Diana as she walks into the room and tells her they have a lead on one of the 4400. The scene changes and we see Diana and Tom interviewing the woman Carl saved. She tells them Carls discription because they dont believe that a man taking on three attackers is all that spectacular. They ask her if the man had been on drugs and she says no and goes on to say that most men would have walked away but this guy saved her. Toms phone rings and its Linda sking where he is for dinner before he can talk she hangs up. Diana asks if there was anything else she could remember and she says he smelled like fish.
As the two are walking to their car Tom asks if this case is like Orsen Bailey, Diana says maybe but what would it give them? A telekentic business man, a clairvoyent eight year old, and a super human vigilanty and those are the only ones they know about. Diana looks at Tom and asks unless theres anyone else he can think off, shrugging the question off Tom tells her to take it one case at a time.
Lily is ignoring her restraining order and watching her daughter and ex's new fmaily as they sit at the kitchent able doing homework. The baby smiling she watches them saddly until her baby causes her vision to change hue colors, making her fall back and knock a plant of the porch, causing the family to look out of the window and notice her. A few moments later Lily is in jail calling her boyfriend Richard telling him that she was arrested.
Mrs.Martino is walking back towards the fish section of the market were Carl works, she greets and then tells him she has her grandchildren coming over for dinner and says she'll need some swordfish. He tells her you cant go wrong with swordfish while his boss hollers his name, he tell Burt to hold on but Burt jerks him around to face him. Burt begins to poke Carl on the chest while he repriminds the man. Carl polietly asks him to stop poking him but Burt doesn't,
angered Carl grabs the mans hand by the pressure point on your thumb and presses hard, causing the man to fall in pain to his knees. He then tells Burt that he asked nicely for him to stop doing that! Burt screams for him to let go, Carl says he means it! He shows up on time and he does his work and he just wants him to leave him alone. Burt readily agrees. After a couple of seconds Carl lets go and continues on with his talk to Mrs.Martino while everyone else stares at him in fear.
Ryland and Tom are sitting at a cafe having a conversation about DC wanting to put the 4400 back in quartine, well rather Ryland is, because Tom is daydreaming. So to get the mans attention Ryland says he took his gun and shot her. Tom looks up shocked and says shot who? Ryland tells Tom to do them all a favor and sign the divorce papers, and Tom tells him to do him a favor and stay out of his personal life. Ryland says he spoke to her and the two argue about Tom missing their dinner. Ryland says maybe he doesn't want to admit the truth to himself.
Meanwhile Richard goes and talk to Bryan about dropping the charges agaisnt Lily, Brain says he warned her told her to stay away but she wouldn't listen. Richard says he understands why hes upset but Lily's in jail and knows he doesn't want that. Want he wants, Bryan starts, is a normal life for his daughter, for his family. Richard says she made a mistake and that if he drop the charges he'll make sure it wont happen again. No swayed Richard continues telling the man that he use to love her once, he says he remembers.
Meanwhile Grace confronts Carl about his superhero act, he acts like is very proud of it, causing her to be even more concerned for her husband, Carl tells her he refuses to stop trying to change the neighborhood because he believe that he's making a difference in the community. Grace threatens to call HomeSec on him and Carls cant believe she would ever do that to him. Grace says he sounds like a crazy man! Carl tells her that he's not that he wont stop until he's cleaned up the park and the entire neighborhood. Grace hold his face gently adn tells him he's just one man and she already lost him once and she doesn't want to lose him again. Carl tells her that he can do it, that he can make this neighborhood a safer palce for everyone, he tells her to stop worrying that this is hsi destiny.
That night, Richard springs Lily from jail and they return to their apartment. After dinner, they share a dance to some song that repeats Mona Lisa over and over. They admit their feelings for each other and make love.
Back at Shawns house, he's inside the garage working on his car when Nikki walks in on him, think she's wanting to Danny she tells him he's inside; but she says she doesn't want to see him. Theres a couple of moments of silence and fianlly Nikki gets fed up and shuts of Shawns car. Exasperated Shawn asks her to turn it back on. Instead she ignors his questions and asks him if Danny said anything to him about why he's acting like she's invisible. 
She says if it is that their friendship has nothing to do with her and Danny being together. Leaning against the car Shawns tells her, again, that he doesn't want to have a friendship with her, starting forward to tell him otherwise Nikki touches her hand to the hot motor of the car and is rewarded with a burn. Freaking out Shawn sets down his rag and walks to her. Taking hold of her hand he gently rubs his thumb against her palm and, amazingly, the burn heals. Looking up at Shawn with wide eyes she says its gone, it doesn't hurt anymore. Trying to act like nothing happened Shawn tells her it must of not been that bad a burn. She retorts that yes it was that he did something to it and like anyother, gag, teen soap opera the two steadily lean in and kiss each other with The Reason playing in the background. Realizing she kissed her boyfriends brother, Nikki runs from the garage leaving a confused Shawn in her wake.
Tom is sitting at his desk looking at the Divorce papers before he qucikly signs them and slams the pen down on the table. Diana walks in and tellls him about her grand scheme of how vigilanties aren't common so theres no real profile for them. She goes through the list of what a vigilanty would most likely be like, she says she crossed check the profile with the 4400 and came back with 37 and then narrowed it down to 13 and then gets rid of 12 leaving Carl Morrissey as her suspect.
Meanwhile we see Carl walking through the park once again, he walks by the statue were he sees a couple of punks tagging it. Screaming at kids he catches there attention, the leader jumps down off the statue and lunges for Carl but instead is beating into submission. Angry Carl tells the rest to come on but they dont attack him, that we can see. Instead we see Tom talking to Carls wife, he's asking her if she knows were Carl is because he would like to talk to him. She questions why and says he asks where he was last Tuesday and Grace says he was here. Diana goes ahead to explain about the Bradley Park vigilanty and Grace asks what that has to do with Carl, sighing she tells them about him.We now see Carl sitting on a bench holding a hand to his bleeding stomach, Grace runs to him as his shirt soaks with blood, he tried to tell Grace that he cleaned the graffiti up but he didn't see them come at him with a knife. Tom calls an ambulance and Carl continues to tell her that he thought he could makes things better cleans things up as Carl died Grace says she doesn't care she just wants him and thats all she wanted.
Its the next day and Tom and Diana are sitting in front of the statue thats beside the bench trying to understand why someone would snatch up Carl give him enough juice to let him make a difference and send him back to just get himself killed. As the two get up to leave, we see the residents of the neighborhood standing outside the police tape as its being taken down as it is finally removed the community goes in and starts picking up the trash while others start to clean the rest of the graffiti up.
We know see Diana signing paperwork before heading off to Maias room where the girl is sleeping. As Diana heads to the bed she notices Maia is awake. The talk abit before Diana asks id Maia would like to leave. Maia asks now, and the woman says right now. Smiling the both of them leave.
Meanwhile Tom is running through a hospital heading towards his sons room where Linda is crying. She tells him that Kyle is gone to x-rays because fulid has started to build up in his brain and that if its not released he could suffer brain damage and die with-in the week..
Hugging Tom like he was her only life line Linda cries. Outside Danny, Nikki, and Shawn show up. Meanwhile Tom glares at Shawn through the rooms window while Shawn stares back undanted
Introduction: So I had been wanting to get the first season of this show awhile now but I was hesitant to spend the money on it, so last weekend I spent the last of my Christmas money on the two disk set, yes two disk. Anywho Im just letting you know that I have no idea how to write a review for a show, never even wrote a book report, we have accelerated reader at school instead of book reports, so bear with me. Also I figured it would be easier if I broke the review down into parts reviewing teach epsiode seperately, and my overall opinion will be at the end on the last review.
Review - Pilot
Our story starts off in 1946 with eight-year-old Maia Rutledge picnicing with her parents on the outskirts of a forest, because of the rain its to wet for them to go outside their car and eat, but being an eight-year-old she begged her parents to let her go outside and play for alittle. While walking through, what appears to be a forest, a bright light shines down on the small girl and she disappeares.
Flash forward five years and we see Richard Tyler, an airforce pilot, who is recovering from a beating from his supporting officers, looking at a small strip of photobooth film of him and a woman kissing, when a sudden light flashes over his head, causing him to disappear.
Skip ahead twenty-eight years and we see a man, from the looks of it a business man, called Orson Bailey heading to his car with a co-worker. He tells his co-worker that he better hurry or he's going to be late for his and his wifes anniversary, the co-worker says bye and leaves. As Orson prepairs to get into his car a bright white light covers the screen and when it disappears he's gone.
2001 two cousins, Shawn Ferrall and Kyle Baldwin, are out by a cabin on the beach drinking beer, when a sudden flash of light appears above them taking Shawn with it and leaving Kyle on the sandy beach unconscious.
Present day the father of Kyle Baldwin, Tom, sits vigil at his sons side in the local hospital. As it turns out Kyle has been in a coma for the past three years, since Shawns disappearence. Tom looks up from his sons bed to the TV just in time to hear about some big comet that is scheduled to come extremely close to Earth. His estranged (think thats the word) wife Linda enters the room to see their son. Instead she leaves in a rush while arguing with Tom over his not being able to move on and accept that their sons in a coma and no private investagator is going to be able to help them find Shawn, who is believed by Tom, to be in hiding for having a hand in Kyles coma.
Not to long after a bright light flashes across the night sky, sending the Homeland Security Offices in Washington on High Alert. Bureau Chief Deenis Ryland is busy breifing Agent Diana Skouris on the comment that is now heading directly towards Earth. An unamed agent infroms them that the comet has changed its course and they have exactly twenty-eight minutes till impact. Ryland, the head honcho guy, gets a call that China has just launched its missiles to try and intercept the comet, not to long after several other countries have also launched missiles in a vain attempt to destroy the comet. When the missiles reach the comet,t heres a big explosion but nothing happens to stop the massive object.
Meanwhile, In a different place a mother, son, and his girlfirend( Susan and Danny Ferrall and Nikki Hudson) are all outside watching as the missile attack the comet and fail. Susan heads into her house and attempts to call her brother Tom, asking if there is a shelter that they might be able to go to and hide in. Tom tells her that there is nothing they can do and there is no shelter that would be able to save them from the comet.
Back at Homeland security, the agent realize that the comet is actually slowly in its decent. The sit there for a second and think what kind of comet could control its decent when, Diana says that a comet cant do that. Realization dawns on them that it cant be a comet then but maybe a ship? Ryland says it doesn't matter because whatever it is is landing in their 
backyard. As quickly as possible the agents head towards the mountain area, where the comet is landing, and try to secure the area from onlookers. The comet hovers briefly over the mountains lake before exploding into a brilliant white light sending everyon in the area flying backwards. When the onlookers get their barrings and stand they realize that the empty lake beach is now filled with people, thousands of dazed and confused people.
Tom and susan, who are watching tv, are compeltly stunned to see Shawn among the hord of people. We also see Maia, Richard and Orson somewhere in the crowd. Sometime later, not sure how much, we see Tom in Rylands office asking for his old job back. Him and Ryland bitch for awhile over how he quit work after five months of working. Finally, after Tom says that since the matter to him is personal he'll come through for Ryland, the head honcho guy gives in and assigns Tom to work with Diana, who more than thrilled at the idea. Anywho after awhile Tom goes into the quarantine area that is holding all 4400 returnees, as they have been called. 
He finds Shawn in on of the questioning? rooms and immediatle begins asking him questions concerning his sons condition. Shawn is shell-shocked to hear about Kyle being in a coma since his disappearence and is hurt that his uncle thinks he had something to due with it.
Meanwhile the air force pilot, Richard, meets a woman named Lilly Moore who looks exactly like the girl he use to know. While they talk the realize that Lilly's grandmother use to know Richard and Richard is heartbrokent hat she is long gone.
On the other side ofthe quarantine room Orson is throwing hissy fit, demanding that he be allowed to see a lawyer or at least have access to a phone so he can call his wife. Maia comes over to him and hands him a napkin, confused he aceepts the tissues to only realize a few second later his nose has begun to bleed.
Later on The Returnees are released from their hold and allowed to leave the fecilaty with family, if they have any. Lilly leaves to go to her Husband and Daughter, Orson heads off to find his wife, Shawn reunits with his mother and brother Danny, and Richard heads off to St.Louis to his home.
When Lily reaches her home she is crushed to realize that her daughter has no idea who she is, and her husband has married another woman. Heartbroken, that her ex has even went on to tell her daughter his second wife is her mother, Lily leaves her house crying. Meanwhile with Richard he returns to his old St.Louis neighborhood to only find out that it has been turned down so a freeway could be built.
Orson goes to see his wife, who, he has learned, is being kept at a nuring home. Seeing the conditions his wife is living in he heads off to his old company, in hopes of getting his old job back. Only to find out that his partners son, Adam Kinsington, is running the company and has no desire to rehire him. Orson loses his temper and crushes the glass he is holding.
Meanwhile Shawns family is throwing him a welcome home party.
He is shocked to see that his kid brothers friend, Nikki, is all grown up and now the same age as him. Tom uses the party as an opportunity to patch things up between him and his nephew, but during their talk a bird flies into the window behind the two. Shawn picks the bird up and pets it saying the
glass must have confused him. Then all the suddent he bird comes to life and flies away.
The next day Tom and Diana are discussing how seventy-five precent of the returnees, now called the noturious 4400, are still living in Seattle, many of them relocating their whole families there.
At Maia's new foster house she is trying to settle in with her new guardians Patty and Kenneth Griffin. Taking off her shoes Maia put them on the chair beside her bed only to have Kenneth tll her they doesn allow shoes on the furniture, Maia replys she doesn't want them to get wet. Patty questions her on her answer but Maia doesn't reply. Deciding maybe Maia needed some time to herself the two leave, after the adults left Maia took her shoes from the floor and placed them back onto the chair. Later that night, Patty starts the washing machine, not realizing there is a leak that will flood part of the house-including Maia's room. When Patty discovers it, she rushes in to Maia-and finds Maia's shoes back on the chair.
That night shawn is outside staring up at the stars in the sky, wondering if he once lived up there, when he catches Nikki looking at him through her bedroom window. A few seconds later he hears the sound of glass breaking and runs out-front to find his car as been trashed with the wrods Freak spray-painted in white all over it.
Meanwhile Oroson goes to Kensingtions mansion in order to apologize about his earlier action and try, to once again, get his job back. When Adam denies him entrance to his mansion, Orson begins to rattle the gate bars, and for some reason various small objects inside Kensingtions house begin to shake and soon the glass in all his window shatter while his glass table cracka nd busts. Adam clutched his head tightly before his eyes rolled into theback of his head and he fell forward onto a table leg, killing him. Hearing the scream from Kensingtons house snaps Orson back into reality and he leaves the house quickly.
Later on, Diana finds her partner Tom in his sons hospital room and informs him that Orson has been arrested for susipsion of murder, for Kensington.
At Seacrest Highschool, Shawn is bullied by a guy he use to go to school with called Brad, apparently someone he use to pick on, who is now the same age as him. To add to the scene Shawns kid brother and girlfriend come to his rescue, much to his humliation. The kid leaves him alone but to try and irk Shawn another way he asks how he likes the new paint job on his car and that its not over.
Tom and Diana talk to Orson at the police station about Kensington, while Tom 
is being calm about the situation Diana decides to read him a rather rude email from Adam to his lawyer causing Orson to became rather pissed off, behind the aging man two coffee pots begin to crack. Demanding that he isn't an idoit he says they need to either charge him with something or release him. The two have no choice but to release Orson.
Meanwhile back at the Griffins Kenneth and Patty have taken Maia out to the cementary where her parents are buried. Maia questions if her parents ever thought about her and Patty reassures her they the did everyday. Kenneth comments how the cemetary use to be in much better shape than it is now and Maia says not to worry that Crown hill is a much nicer graveyard. The couple question what she means and Maia says that thats where their going to be burried.
Tom and Diana are now at the morfue taking to the coroner about Kensingtons. She tells them that Adam is a popular guy in death. She goes on to tell them that even though he was impaled with the table leg his inital injury, the shattered skull, is what cause his death.
Back in St.Louis Richard is in a phone booth looking at a piece of paper while holding the small object to his ear. He's trying to call Lily but it isn't going well, Lilys daughter Heidi tells him that no one by the name of Lily lives there.
Meanwhile Lily is at a doctors office, being examined. The doctor tells her that she isn't sick but rather pregnant, the blonde is shocked. She goes off to visit her ex, who takes the news with a grain of salt, and hands her a envelope. He tells her its a temporary restraining order to keep her away from Heidi. He also adds that he doesn't want to see her anymore. Crushed Lily just watches as her once upon a time love leaves her.
Back with Orson, who is now a free man, he goes to visit his wife at the nursing hom, but her and belongings are not there. Orson confront Alan Kushner, the administrator, who informs him that his wide had passed away. Upset, Orson screams in rage as he outlashes towards Alan but the orderlies restrain him, which only causes more anger. Raging Orson and the rest of the employes watch horrified as the hallyways literally explodes around them.
Later, in the same hallway, Tom and Diana question Kushner on what exacly happened. The admin tells them that stuff was physically flying around the passage way and his head felt ready to explode. Tom gently explains to Kushner that her better not read or otherwise hear about the scene int he news or on tv. Then he and Diana head back to Homeland Security to tell Ryland about the scene. Ryland says that Orson checked out of his hotel and may be making a run for it. Diana and Tom leave to try and find him.
After School, Shawn, Danny and Nikki are heading out of the building towards home when Brad the bullie calls Shawn out. They get in s scuffle and Shawn pins brad down but something happens and Brad begins to turn blue and his veins begin to appear
it almost looks as if hes either freezing to death or choking and Danny has to pull Shawn off of the bullie before he kills him. All the student freak out because they think Shawn tried to kill Brad by somehow absorbing his life force. Later at home, the two cousins are playing basketball together when Danny confronts his cousin about what he really thinks happened to Brad, causing Shawn to walk off in a huff.
The same day, Patty and Kenneth recieve a Crown Hill Cemetary Brochure in their mail. Unnerved Kenneth decides that he doesn't think he and Patty made the right choice with Maia. Patty tells Kenneth that Maia isn't what they expected and that maybe they should talk to her. Nodding Patty gets up and heads to Maias room to see the little girl standing in the center of the room her suitcase packed. She tells them she new she wouldn't be there very long. Whent hey return her to Homeland, Patty has a hard time saying good-bye to the little girl, but warns Maia that she should watch what she says around people, because it could scare them.
After browsing through Orsons wifes belongings, Diana and Tom find a photo of the couple taken at a cabin. They decide that maybe, just maybe, Orson went to the cabin to hide out. The proceed to track the cabin down.
The next day, Nikki hands Shawn a homemade CD with all the current popular songs from various badns to give him a chance to get caught up on whats cool. He seems surprised she wants to hang out with him because of what the entire school thinks hes a freak of nature and trys to avoid him. She says she doesn't care what anyone else thinks.
In the meantime, Tom and Diana figure out which cabin they need to head to but before they leave Diana gets a phone call from her father? and the conversation doesn't go very well. To add to the wonderful day Tom is served divorce papers on silver platter.
Richard has flown back to Seattle to track down Lily, after not being able to reach her by phone. After a long while of
searching he runs into her at the park. Happy to see Richard he clings to him as her only life line. The two head of to a cafe were she in turn reveals to Richard that she is pregnant and admits that Brian was out of town when she was taken so it can be his baby and she hasn't slept with anyone since her return! The two share an uneasy silence which Richard breaks by admitting him and Lily's grandma where a couple back in the fifties.
Later on, Tom and Diana make their way to Orsons cabin to confront him. He refuses to come out and becomes angry
when the two wont leave him alone. Blood begins to drip from his nose as his rage builds. Toms also begins to bleed, as does Dianas left ear. Tom kicks open the door but is stopped by the pounding pain in his head, it soon becomes to much for him and he drops to the floor. Diana orders Orson to stop
but he cant. The cabin soon begins to rattle causing the timbers to start to fall. More blood begind to seep from Orsons eyes and ears while Diana moves forward and orders him to stop in one last deseperate plea; but he doesn't. Having no choice Diana shoot Orson, causing the destruction to stop and the cabin to settle. Tom regains his senses and quickly calls 911.
At Shawn's house, he catches Nikki and Danny looking at a website about The 4400, it has an article about Orson killing some guy. Shawn again says hes not a freak, and Danny accuses him, again, of purposely doing something to Brad. Shawn storms off to his room while Nikki looks at Danny exasperated.
Orson is recovering from his bullet wound in a hospital bed, while Ryland expects Tom to look into the other returnees to make sure they dont have any similar abilities. Tom thanks Diana for saving his life and she questions him about Shawn, but he denies noticing anything unusual.
At the hospital Shawb has snuck into his cousin, Kyles, hospital room to see him for the first time since hes been back. He gently touches the unconscious boys chest causing Kyle to stir. Kyle starts to struggle violently to open his eyes, he begins to cough. Panicking, Shawn hastingly retreats from the bed, and Kyle slips back into the coma. Shawn stares at his hand shell-shocked over what just happened.

Episode Overview: The episode was a good kick-off I admit but for the two hours it was on, I think it could have done alot better then it did. It started off pretty good with introducing you to the main characters through their abductions and it did a good job at showing their powers but I dont know just seems like they could have done better! I mean when you think about it most movie only run about the same as this Pilot did but yet I dont know....just seems not as good as it could have been, anyways thats all for this review, I'll try and get the next one up soon. I really want to thank The 4400.com02 for their wonderful graphics!

Okay so I was browsing The Stargate Recc. Journals at LJ.com, and Im a little pissed at the fact that I can no longer look at the sgdarkfic's' list of stories, even though (!) I added them to my friend like asked and blah blah blah.
Anywho I came across this really neat story on Stargateficred's LJ called Pegasus_B and as it turns out its a really good story, if your into slash and such.
Its a crossover of Stargate Sg-1 and Stargate Atlantis its basically a what if fic, a really big what if fic mind you, it starts out with this line Okay, lunch is over. I've fed the bunny. The bunny can now just wait until I get these last 19 essays graded. Now I have no idea why but I laughed at that part, what retrack that I know why i laughed Im easily amused, BUT! that is not the point, the point is if you are into the Stargate fandoma nd would like to spend your weekend, like me, reading a good stargate fanfic then this is the story for you, It's very well written and from the parts I have read so far alot of time, sweat, and effort has gone into this story to make it what it is today (did anyone else understand that? Man sometimes my brain works faster then my hands can type, ack, just ignor me).
MY POINT IS, if you have nothign to do this weekend then this is a story you should be reading!
